01 Agreement to these terms
“DohoHub”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the team that operates the DohoHub website at
dohohub.com. “You” means anyone who uses the site, the developer API, or an account or
provider cabinet. By accessing or using DohoHub, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our
Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
If you use DohoHub on behalf of a company (for example, listing a hosting brand you work for),
you confirm you’re authorised to accept these terms for that company.
02 What DohoHub is
DohoHub is an independent price-monitoring and comparison platform for hosting providers
and domain registrars. We collect publicly available prices, uptime and deals, normalise them,
and present them so you can compare. We are not a hosting provider or a domain registrar,
we don’t sell hosting or domains ourselves, and we are not a party to any purchase you make from a
provider you find through us.
Rankings and scores are editorial and data-driven. As stated on our About
page, positions are never for sale — paying for verification or promotion does not move a
provider up the organic rankings.
03 Price & data accuracy
warning Prices, specifications, uptime figures and availability on DohoHub are gathered automatically and may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Promotions expire, currencies fluctuate, and providers change their pages. Always confirm the final price and terms on the provider’s own website before purchasing.
We show, where available, when a data point was last updated, and we correct errors as quickly as
we can. But you use pricing and comparison data at your own risk, and DohoHub is not liable for a
decision made on the basis of a figure that later proves inaccurate. Currency conversions are
approximate and for display only.
04 Accounts
Browsing is anonymous. Some features — alerts, favourites, a provider cabinet, the API — need an
account. You agree to give accurate information, to keep your password secure, and to be
responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at
contact@dohohub.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches
these terms, abuses the service, or exposes us or other users to risk — where practical, with
notice.
05 Provider listings & moderation
Anyone can submit a hosting company or registrar through Add Provider.
Submissions enter a moderation queue and are reviewed before they appear; edits made from a
provider cabinet are also reviewed before they go live. We may accept, edit, decline, or remove a
listing at our discretion — for example, to fix inaccurate data, remove duplicates, or drop a
company that no longer operates.
A basic listing is free, with no contract and no obligation. If you submit or manage a
listing, you confirm the information is accurate and that you have the right to provide it,
including any logo or screenshots.
06 Paid services
DohoHub offers optional paid products. Current offerings and prices are shown in the relevant part of the site and defined in our configuration; they may change over time:
- Provider verification — an optional verified badge after review. Offered as a one-time review or a recurring subscription.
- Advertising / promotion — clearly labelled “Sponsored” placements, priced per day for a chosen duration. Sponsored placement is always marked and never alters organic rankings.
- API access — a paid developer tier with a higher rate limit and data export, billed monthly.
Paid verification and promotion still pass through moderation: payment schedules the service, but
we may decline a badge or a campaign that doesn’t meet our standards, in which case we refund the
amount for that item.
07 Payments, renewals & refunds
Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We don’t receive or store your full
card number. By purchasing, you authorise the applicable charge and any taxes.
Renewals
Subscriptions (a monthly/annual verification, or the API tier) renew automatically at the end
of each period until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your dashboard or the customer portal;
cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
Refunds
- Advertising campaigns — if we cancel an active campaign, we refund pro-rata for the days not served. Amounts are approximate by design and not billing-grade.
- Verification — refundable within 14 days if the badge has not yet been granted; once granted, the current period is non-refundable.
- Subscriptions — you may cancel to stop future charges; the current period is generally non-refundable except where required by law.

08 Your content & reviews
You may contribute content — a review, a community up/down vote, a provider description, images.
You keep ownership of what you submit, and you grant DohoHub a non-exclusive, worldwide,
royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it on the platform for the purpose of running
the service.
You agree not to post anything false, defamatory, infringing, or that you don’t have the right to
share, and not to manipulate reviews or votes (including fake or incentivised reviews). We moderate
community content and may edit or remove it — a verified provider may be given a right to respond,
but reviews are not removed simply because a company dislikes them.
09 Affiliate links & independence
Some outbound links to providers and registrars are affiliate links: if you sign up after
clicking one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This helps fund the platform. As
set out on our About page, affiliate relationships and paid
promotion do not influence rankings, scores or which provider is shown as cheapest — those
come from the data.
10 Acceptable use
When using DohoHub, you agree not to:
- use the site or API for anything unlawful, or to infringe someone else’s rights;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site beyond what a normal visitor does, or circumvent the API’s rate limits (anonymous access is capped; the paid API tier lifts that);
- probe, disrupt, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure;
- impersonate another company or person, or submit a listing you have no right to manage;
- attempt to inflate ad impressions/clicks or manipulate reviews, ratings or rankings.
Automated access must go through the API under its terms and limits, not by scraping the HTML.
11 Intellectual property
The DohoHub name, logo, site design, original text and the compiled comparison data are ours or
our licensors’ and are protected by law. You may link to DohoHub and quote small excerpts with
attribution, but you may not copy substantial portions of our content or database, or reuse our
branding, without permission.
Provider and registrar names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used
for identification and comparison only; their appearance on DohoHub does not imply any endorsement
or partnership beyond what is stated.
12 Third-party sites & services
DohoHub links to providers, registrars and other third-party sites, and relies on third-party
services (for example, a payment provider and bot-protection). We don’t control those sites or
services and aren’t responsible for their content, prices, availability, or their terms and privacy
practices. Once you leave DohoHub, the other site’s terms apply.
13 Disclaimers
DohoHub is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or
implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We don’t warrant
that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that data is accurate or current, or that a
provider you find will meet your needs. Any reliance you place on the information is at your own risk.
14 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DohoHub and the people who operate it will not be liable
for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data
or goodwill, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, including any decision
made on the basis of information shown here. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to
the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50.
You agree to indemnify DohoHub against claims arising from your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms or applicable law.
15 Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator’s principal place of business,
without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be handled by the competent courts there.
Nothing in these terms removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
Please contact us first — most issues are resolved without formal proceedings.
16 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves or the law changes. When we do, we’ll revise the
“last updated” date above; for material changes we’ll make the update more prominent. Continuing to
use DohoHub after a change means you accept the updated terms.
