Vultr climbs four positions in the DohoHub rankings to a 4.9/5 score, reflecting its expanding global cloud, GPU, bare metal and AI infrastructure.

Vultr Moves Up 4 Positions on DohoHub

Vultr — DohoHub Score: 4.9/5 Rank: ▲ +4

Vultr has moved four positions higher in the DohoHub provider rankings, reaching a 4.9/5 DohoHub Score.

The move reflects the continued expansion of Vultr's infrastructure platform and its growing capabilities across cloud compute, dedicated servers, GPUs, AI infrastructure, Kubernetes, storage, and networking.

Why Vultr moved up

Several factors contributed to the change:

🌍 33 global cloud regions Vultr expanded its network to 33 cloud data center regions, with Milan becoming its latest location in 2026. The company says its global infrastructure is designed to provide broad geographic coverage and low-latency access for users worldwide.

⚡ Broader compute portfolio Vultr offers multiple compute tiers, including Cloud Compute, optimized instances, VX1 Cloud Compute, GPU instances, and dedicated Bare Metal. This gives customers more options as workload requirements grow.

🤖 Stronger AI infrastructure AI has become a major part of Vultr's infrastructure strategy. The platform supports NVIDIA and AMD GPU infrastructure, including high-end multi-GPU configurations and GPU clusters designed for AI training, inference and HPC workloads.

☸️ Kubernetes and cloud-native services Vultr Kubernetes Engine provides a managed Kubernetes option, while the wider platform includes storage, load balancing, networking and other services needed for cloud-native applications. The VKE control plane currently carries no additional charge; customers pay for the resources used by their clusters.

🔧 Developer-focused infrastructure Vultr continues to provide API, CLI and Terraform-based workflows alongside its web console, making the platform suitable for infrastructure automation and DevOps environments.

💳 Flexible infrastructure billing Vultr uses hourly billing for its server products. Cloud Compute, Optimized Cloud Compute and Bare Metal are billed up to a monthly cap, while GPU instances use a separate 730-hour monthly cap. One important detail: stopped servers continue generating charges until they are destroyed.

DohoHub Take

Vultr's move up the rankings reflects a broader transformation of the provider. Its offering now extends well beyond conventional VPS hosting into cloud infrastructure, bare metal, GPU computing and AI infrastructure.

The combination of global coverage, multiple compute tiers, developer tooling and an expanding accelerated-computing portfolio makes Vultr increasingly relevant to workloads ranging from websites and SaaS applications to Kubernetes deployments and AI/ML projects.
